As we enter a season the children have to opportunity to explore it through one or all of their senses. Fall gifted us with pumpkins, in which the children had the opportunity to use three of their senses. During the process questions were asked, like where do pumpkins grow, while also implementing fun facts, for example a pumpkin is a fruit. As the lesson progress the children touched, saw and smelled the inside of the pumpkin after it was cut. They also had the opportunity to take the seeds out of the pumpkin and see them in a better view.
